Metropipe endorses VirtuCard

Metropipe, a leading provider of Internet privacy services, recommends that clients use unlinQ's VirtuCard when dealing with on-line merchants to protect their identities and prevent misuse of their credit.
Along with the rapid growth on on-line business have come the criminal element. Daily news stories recount how people using their credit cards with on-line merchants learned that their account and personal information had stolen or sold. Some found unauthorized charges from the merchant or others on their bank statements months later.

VirtuCard is a pre-loaded, active, account number issued to an unlinQ nym fresh on demand. There is no compromise in identity due to courier delivery or cost. It’s not detectable by the merchant as being a virtual card: the merchant sees a completely valid major charge card but the card's identity isn't linked to the unlinQ client. . Clients are provided with a unique operating credit card number, expiration date, 3-digit CVC/CVV and the nym's identification information to complete on-line transactions for that card.
There is no account relationship between unlinQ and its clients. VirtuCards may be purchased for the exact amount needed so there is no waste and unexpected charges are eliminated. If desired cards may be recharged, balances transferred or even refunded.
